I meant to ask about a turks & caicos visa. It is a british overseas territory but doesn't seem to require a visa from anyone.
You may not need a visa to visit those British territories....but, you need a visa or AP or GC to enter US. Once you have gone there for visiting (or any other purpose), you have crossed the international border of US.

As they just started I-140 premium processing, I wonder why they cannot initiate 3rd stage premium processing.
I wouldn't mind spending a couple thousand dollars if I can get the actual green card in a couple of weeks after starting the 3rd stage. Time is money. If I can buy it, I will buy it.
I don't think it is very constructive to repeat the same story to the congress, which they are not tuned to. We'd better make various suggestions from many different angles so that they can pick at least some of them in a timely manner.

Hi Gazman - for the most part, almost everything is run. There may be some animation-related things that we suppress, but you can have a nested class that controls some UI on a grandparent class, and Blend will happily show you the results of it.

are you guys saying that the "costs" for the medical exams can be reimbursed by our insurance companies? I did not know that... In case that is true, I will submit mine for reimbursement...

I believe she can continue to work if she files H1 extension and has a receipt notice. But if you are pursueing the EAD angle you will need an EAD card in hand physically to go that route. In a way its good that your employer is supporting the EAD efforts but that also takes longer because of documents and information exchanges with the attorney etc. Hope this helps

You can call USCIS if you don't hear from them within 90 days of filing EAD. Many of you probably know this already, but I thought that was interesting... and may benefit those who didn't know this already.

If the gap between arriving on B2 and converting to H1B was less than 3 months, there could be a problem with "intent" as H1 is considered a dual intent (temporary non-immigrant worker who may have the intention of applying for a permanent immigrant visa i.e., GC) visa while B2 is not. While filling up the B2 application, there is a question which we need to answer NO asking this very question. I assume your wife answered NO during the B2 process. So, with H1 in less than 3 months (if this is the case) or arrival, she has "lied" in her B2 application as per the immigration laws.
I may be wrong.Please consult an attorney if needed.

ANSWER:: No, with Canadian GC you can not enter USA for long term work, without stamping. I think entry for one month is permitted.
QUESTION:: How safe it is Frequent travel to Canada and back
ANSWER:: It is safe to cross US and Canada border, if you have multiple entry visa.
QUESTION:: How safe it is to stay in Canada for duration of 3-6 months and come back to USA
ANSWER:: As long as you are in H1 B there is no restriction. In future if you enter I-485, there are complications, if you continue to travel back and forth at that time too.

If you have to use EB2, you have to interfile your application to EB2 after the EB2 I140 gets approved. Until then, your category is EB3. If you change the employer now, you would be using the AC21 for the EB3.
If you want to interfile with EB2, you would need to wait until the EB2 I140 gets approved.
The process with interfiling is not very clear. This means that, once you interfile for EB2, until you get a letter stating the interfiling was successful, you don't know which job position and job duties to follow while changing company.
So that means I can switch based on EB3 and AC21.

we received FP notice for me and spouse (not yet for kid (<5) ) which scheduled in Nov-24 at Charlotte, NC and we moved to CA months back.
1. do we need to call USCIS to change the location and date ?.
2. or can we go directly to the nearest ASC and request for it , showing the FP notice ?.
3. I have updated the address in USCIS using online AR-11 already.
Plz share your experience/advise...
