That's really my point. Apple has set the bar high for itself. If I bought a Windows CE phone, I'd expect to have problems. But few Apple products in the last decade have had so many highly publicized issues as iPhone 4. Notice there isn't much press about iPhone 3GS issues or iPad issues or Mac Mini issues. Apple usually produces produces with great usability and high reliability. Maybe I've just gotten spoiled over the years....

Its also the buggiest thing on the OS, it disables typing after a few minutes, doesnt want to load web pages some times, and everytime you skip around in a flash video it starts it as a new download without killing the old one meaning youll end up with a bunch of FLV's being downloaded at the same time killing your bandwidth and having your video stopped on sites that dont allow multiple connections.

I would like to listen to your thought about the direction apple is taking. As you know the Keynote was only about iPhone.
This has to be the least hyped(and cared about) keynote since steve jobs returned to Apple. I didnt even know when it was going to be until I read on a videogame website that there was this 3d game for the new iphone.
The keynote when it had breakthrough inventions, and great "one more things", where original imac and imac flat panel was introduced, os x, and many great things...now we only hear about one of apple's gadgets and it is the iphone.
I do realize the apple is smart to increase its money and move into the future by not eating more of the PC market where it is hard and competitive but to go into new markets like they did with ipod and itunes. But I believe Apple is starting to neglect the computer market.
A whole keynote about iphone? its supposed to be for mac computers and a section for iphone. This clearly showed in leopard where a lot of people complained about it and it wasnt breakthrough like its previous brothers.
Apple computers and software is not bad, its just being neglected. I am afraid that Apple is no longer creating great computers that beat out other pc's. They are halting that, and concentrating on entertainment(movies & music) and other gadgets...iphone,ipod, apple tv, airport...etc.
I recall a day where people swear by their macs, people are happy and proud to run their mac computer. Now its just, i will get mac because its the next cool thing...but that iphone, thats GREAT!

The way I see it, apple is slowly neglecting the computer market, and moving toward entertainment and gadgets. I am afraid the day will come where we will see OS X on non apple hardware. Is this any different than being in the forum and seeing the icon that shows a new post since you've posted?
Well... that's part of it. In your User CP it collects all of your subscribed threads in one place. It also displays the icon in Forum Spy.
And I do understand the said feature is not available but it would be great to have something to the extent of simple Facebook notifications.

The best is to create a Wallpapers folder anywhere you want (preferably in the Images folder, situated in your User folder).
Then, just add it to the list in the preference pane (see attached pic).

Get the Crucial 1333MHz, as you need that speed definitely for your iMac, and I assume your laptop uses it as well. If your laptop uses the slower speed, it will not work in your iMac
According to a google result when I typed in the Ram Model part that CPU-Z told me, the Ram in my Dell is 1066. So for a fact this won't work in my iMac at all, even those it is the same 204-pin ddr3 ram?

I need an iBook for my school work (my PC is too big to carry around :P ) so I am getting rid of my PC and DS (I don't play it anymore). I am selling the PC for $520 and the DS for $120. You can probally talk me down in the prices (not too much :P ). Here are the items.

I've never got too into Cocos2D but I can at least throw a hint your way, but hopefully someone else can come by and offer more help. There is probably a much simpler way in Cocos to do this than what I am about to say:
Ok after writing a long winded reply I found a site that does a better job at explaining it (and has pictures!). The concept is important (and useful even if Cocos does have some sort of built in method to handle it).

I would also highly suggest if you do have to do this manually, use a bounding circle (or rectangle) first to check for collisions, and if you find one, THEN do per pixel collision detection. It will help performance greatly.

It's still just a trojan, however. It's certainly malicious enough to be a worry, but easily prevented. Now, more than ever, though, is the time to remind Mac users not to go searching for and downloading anti-virus software because of paranoia; chances are tools like this will be used to produce lots of fake anti-virus software intent on trapping people who are paranoid about exactly this time of problem. Make sure anything you download comes from a reputable source (the Mac App Store should remain free from any of these types of apps, I'd imagine), and don't give you password unless you know what is requesting it and why.

The Mac Mini, iMac and Macbooks will all be updated some time soon. The Mac Mini and Macbook will get Core i3 @2.1GHz, with the Intel HD 3000 GPU. iMacs will have a base model with Core i5. The Mini and Macbook will be far more powerful than they are now - the Core 2 Duos are outdated now. It also depends on whether you have got your own keyboard, mouse and display. If you have, and you're happy to use them, the Mac Mini will probably save you a bit of cash.

I bought one of these for my G5, love it. Looks cool and has very nice action, I seem to fly on this board! 2 USB ports (one at each end). Pretty cheap too.... $39 at Newegg I think. It gets my vote. :D
