Do I have to pay for my green card again if the INS made a mistake on my birthday? Need to know if there are any under the table jobs in Lake Havasu City,AZ. My green card expired in 2004. I have an AZ license and a social security card. Can I work with expired card? Please help!

We did the same for both me and my spouse. I think we applied on Sept 5. I got mine within a week. Its been more than a month and we have not received my wife's SSN. We did call SSA on Sep 22 and they said everything was fine and we should receive it soon, If we do not receive by the end of the month go again to the local office. Have not received it yet, So plan to go to the SSN local office again tomorrow. My guess is it could have got lost in the transit.

This is a contract position to work in canada.This is normally through couple of vendors.

some ppl here may think its unethical or its cheating..but i think..the PD is a measure of the who is ahead in the line...not category..;-)

I work for company X and in my 9th year H1-B visa. X has filed for my Eb-3 labor and I-140 and I am currently AOS (July 07 filer) on my I-485. X recently extended my H1 through Oct 2012.
I have an offer from company Y. Company Y is asking me if I want H1 extension or H1 transfer? What should I answer them. Which one ensures that I have a 3 year extension. Please advise ASAP.

Below are the 2 listed jobs.. I am currently working as 15-1051.00 Computer Systems Analysts for XXX comp... I have been working for more than 3 years.. They are planning to file my GC soon..
I know for a fact that you cannot count current employer exp for GC. If i start working for the same employer on 15-1031.00 Computer Software Engineers, Applications , is it more than 50% different in role so i can count my 3 years experience when applying my GC ??
Also do i have to file a new H1 for this 15-1031.00 Computer Software Engineers, Applications job from same employer ??

I was browsing the jobs forum on craigslist and i was shocked to see some user urging people to call Senator Cornyn to not push H1 and Eb visa increases.
Of all places I least expected anti immigrants to be so active on craigslist.

I played around with this a bit, and found the solution. The problem occurred when I had "Empty Project." I created a new project "Console Application," and then I was able to "load" the Process class/namespace. Can anyone explain to me why this would happen? I did a few searches online, but didn't find much help...

MBA program finishes end 2011
Has anyone been in the same situation where applying for a private student loan has been denied since the 797/EAD expires before the course is complete.
Working full time right now. What are the options?

I tried applying for License Renewal inn NC when my H1 was pending with USCIS, they strictly told me that they will not issue the license until we get the approval notice from USCIS. if you have any luck please let me know?

Post MBA (since Jun'06), I am working with a new employer. My previous employer (bachelor degree), filed for my labor in Nov'04 and I left this company in Jun'06; howevr employer didn't withdrew my labor application. My labor with previous employer was approved in Feb'07. I have good relation with my previous employer and they are ready to file my I-140; I have few questions regarding this:
Can my previous employer file I-140, even if I am not working with them?
If I-140 is approved, would I able to transfer the PD to my new employer, when he initiates my labor application.
Once I transfer my PD, can my previous employer use this approved LC for other candidate?
Based on my new qualifications (MBA), my job description has changed totally compared to my previous job.

Isn't it a violation of the law, if NO reason is given while denying the 485?
The only recent case I have seen on IV was where the member got a NOID stating that the 140 was withdrawn/revoked.
So, here, a reason WAS given.
Of course, the reason might have been incorrect, as the poster seemed to think.
